I've gotten such an overwhelming response to the emergency picture, I felt I had to say something. First off thank you for all the get well wishes, the love and all the concerns. Im doing great. I swung my guitar on stage and due to the heat and sweat, my strap got caught on my shirt and the body swung around and cracked me in the ear. I didn't think much about it at the time, as they say the show must go on. During the next song, my in ear monitor on the left side went out. I noticed blood on my hands while I was playing but didnt know where it was coming from. In between songs I was switching guitars and told Scotty our monitor guy, my left ear monitor was blown out, told Bobby my guitar tech im bleeding but I dont know from where and that my ear was full of water... lol And that I was getting very dizzy on stage. After the show ended, I realized alot of blood coming out of my left ear. Nikki called in the paramedics and they wheel chaired my sorry ass to the ambulance. In the emergency room they said my ear drum was fine but I had a deep cut, deep inside my ear canal, from my in ear molds caused by the impact of the guitar. As soon as they told me my ear drum was fine, I jetted back to the venue and went to the meet and greet :)
