Reprise records just announced that Disturbed is releasing a live EP exclusively through iTunes on September 30th. The recording features three songs recorded at Deep Rock Drive in Las Vegas - a live online performance in front of 25,000 people that was sold-out, now available to you via iTunes.
If you've never seen or heard Disturbed live... well there's a reason they have risen above the Nu-Metal genre and remained one of hte most successful rock bands around. They are one of the most solid and charismatic live bands out there - even if you don't like their music, I guarantee, if you dig Rock they'll blow you away.
Multi-platinum hard-rock band Disturbed will release a digital-only EP, entitled Live & Indestructible, exclusively through iTunes beginning September 30th for two weeks, after which it will be made available through all digital retailers.
The EP contains three songs recorded for DeepRockDrive.com, a live, online, interactive exchange between performers and their audience where the fans collaborate with artists in real-time to build magical live experiences. The band's show on May 29th in Las Vegas was watched by more than 25,000 fans, resulting in the first-ever sold-out show in DeepRockDrive's history.
The three songs on Live & Indestructible are "Inside the Fire," the record-breaking Mediabase Active Rock single that remained at Number One for 16 weeks, from Disturbed's current gold-certified album Indestructible, "Stricken," from the band's platinum-selling 2005 album Ten Thousand Fists, and "The Game," from its multi-platinum 2000 debut The Sickness. The EP also features the official music video for second single "Indestructible."
Released by Reprise Records on June 3rd, the self-produced Indestructible debuted at Number One on Billboard's Top 200 album chart and remained in the Top 10 for five weeks. Indestructible is the band's third consecutive Number One album, following their platinum-sellers Believe (2002) and Ten Thousand Fists, making Disturbed one of only six rock bands in history to score three consecutive Number One debuts with studio albums. Formed in Chicago in 1996, Disturbed have sold a collective 10 million albums worldwide.
