Wait wait, Crance. You think? What's holding you back? Or did you mean that you know it's rad? I'm just confused by your comment, that's all. Let me know when the final verdict is in!

GEAR TALK: MARTIN GUITARS
By The Rockvine

Howdy-

This week I got the chance to review a sweet new acoustic guitar from our friends over at Martin. To me, these are the Rolls Royce of guitars. If I was a rapper, it would be a Maybach. The geetar I picked up was the new D-18 with a flamed Mahogany back and sides. To be blunt, this guitar was fucking hot. When it sits on its stand, it glows. When you pick it up, it tickles your fingers. The action is flawless. The sound is full and lush. It put a big smile on my face and made me remember that playing a sick guitar is a lot of fucking fun. If this guitar was a chick, it would be a mix between the sexiness of Eva Longoria (sans douchey French husband) and the curves of Angelina Jolie. We could also mix in a little Sienna Miller because let’s face it…if you owned this guitar, you would want to spank it like a little whore. Ok so that was nice and awkward.

The only downside of this beauty is a list price upwards of $5,500. If I had all the money in the world, this would be one of the first guitars I would buy. I like to think of myself as a realist however and unfortunately I am not a bazillionaire. Unless I get hit by a cab or win the lottery, I will probably never own one of these. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
