Full disclosure time kids. As your new leader, I mentioned we're making some changes around here - one of those changes is wearing our hearts on our sleeves and explaining what we're all about and why you should stick around.
Look to your left. There is a sign-up form. If what you see below intrigues you enough to want to hear more and see where this little experiment takes us, give us your name and e-mail address and we'll keep in touch as things get better. There's no commitment, no SPAM and no money involved. You want out, we take you off the list... it's that simple.

Soon, there will be a page to house this information (and an FAQ) but for now, I'll let it live here for a bit.
So what is the Rockvine?
Other than being a cute play on words for the Grapevine (get it... you hear/read about news through the Rockvine), The Rockvine is an interactive, online publication that brings you interesting news and information about all things Rock.
I have tons of places to find Rock news, why are you so special?
The Rockvine is the only unbiased multimedia entertainment and information based website owned by leading Rock record label that we are aware of. There is, of course, Blabbermouth - we LOVE Blabbermouth a lot actually and have a lot of respect for them. We're not looking to compete with them, or SPIN or Rolling Stone, Revolver or anybody for that matter. We're something different.
AND?
The Rockvine is owned by Eleven Seven Music - the independent Rock record label releasing artists such as Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry, Sixx:A.M., Drowning Pool and much more great music to come. The connections, information, access and of course the FREE SHIT we get here is exactly what makes us different. Contests and exclusive information will flow freely and that is what will make us different. Notice I say we are UNBIASED - just because Eleven Seven owns us doesn't mean we kiss their artists' asses. If they fuck up we WILL laugh.
I have ideas/want to write for you/want more information, what should I do?

You can say whatever you want, but here are some suggestions:
- Topics we should write about.
- People we should interview.
- Bands we should hear.
- Types of programs you want (IE more videos, more music, more articles, more blogs, etc.).
- Contest ideas.
- General ideas of how we can make the site better for you.
