Wait wait, Crance. You think? What's holding you back? Or did you mean that you know it's rad? I'm just confused by your comment, that's all. Let me know when the final verdict is in!

Nine Inch Nails News - Josh Freese to Leave the Band at the end of This Year
By The Rockvine
For those of you who follow this sort of thing, studio drummer extraordinaire, Josh Freese has just announced via www.NIN.com that the second leg of the Lights in the Sky over North America tour will be his last with the Godfather of pop-industrial.

If you are the type of person who follows these things, you will know that Nine Inch Nails is Trent Reznor and whomever else he hires to join him on stage - generally a group of misfit musicians specializing in controlled chaos. In that way, Freese, who joined up in the 2005 about 10 shows into the Live: With Teeth tour, doesn't really surprise any of us by making the announcement. I don't think any drummers have stayed with the band more than 5 years at a time. Still, we like Josh - in addition to being a founding member of the iconic pop-punk band the Vandals, he has been a member of A Perfect Circle and played on just about every rock record on the planet.

I've been lucky enough to see Josh perform a total of six times - three with A Perfect Circle and three of the four times I have seen Nine Inch Nails. The man is a powerhouse on the drums and the Lights in the Sky tour is really something else - so any Rock fans should definitely not miss this show.

Head over to www.TheRockvine.com/Live to check out our review of the Nine Inch Nails - Lights in the Sky over North America tour.
