SLAVES TO GRAVITY BLOG: "GOO GOO DOLLS TOUR DIARY"
By The Rockvine

Morning all! Last night's show at Rock City was a killer! We played to a packed room and got a really amazing reception from everyone there. If that includes you, a very big THANX from all of us for making our night. It's so cool to be playing these gigs in bigger venues than usual. It's like it unlocks a whole other level of live performance in each of us. We have a day off today, and as I write we're en route to Newcastle where we will spend the night before playing the Academy tomorrow. Before this though, we're probably going to visit the wonderful Guitar Guitar - Newcastle's finest - you guest it - guitar shop! We're in desperate need of some new instrument cleaning equipment after I split my hand open and bled over everything on stage last night. It's a pretty regular occourence for this to happen, but last night was a particularly nasty one. Everyone's feeling pretty beat today. Mark and I had to share a bed in the hotel last night thanks to Travelodge fucking up our booking, but we got off light. J and Tosh spent the night in the Van in a shitty car park on the outskirts of Leeds to ensure our shit didn't get ripped off. Oh the glamour.
Anyway, Clutch is currently rocking the stereo and we've just loaded up on Starbucks (corporate whores that we are) so it's by no means all bad.

The Journey continues....

Big Love

Tx

P.S - Still need to see an Osteopath....
